A Pitch in Time @ SWF 2008

This year's Festival boasted so many highlights that the word 'highlight' is beginning to lose its meaning.  Nevertheless, it seems only right and proper to use it once more, since the illustrious Live Pitching contest this year consolidated it's standing as a favourite feature of the programme.

The 10 finalists this year, after a rigorous masterclass with Julian Friedmann, each rose to the challenge admirably and we aboard the SWF mothership  would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you all once more on your contributions to the sucess of this year's festival.

The three winners were...

ELENA FULLER:  'Little Wheel'

 

Although we feel everyone's a winner and wish them all the best and hope that they will returrn next year and eventually invite us to the London premiere of their movies.

The Pitching competition will return soon, and at the moment it has no name, but after a few beers down the local ( a LOT of beers) I'll come up with some 'Pitch' orientated name, don't you worry.  Until then keep typing...
